Founding and origins of the "Jabones Ibarra" Factory

¡From Cocula comes the Mariachi and Jabones Ibarra! Cocula is the land that saw the birth of José Raymundo Ibarra and his enterprise de él. Being very young but with a great dream ahead, he invests in basic machinery and leads a work team to found what today is Jabones Ibarra.

1979

Modernization and expansion to a national market

After 45 years of its foundation, with the aim of expansion and growth to a national market, the factory is restructured and modernized, resulting in market leadership in the decades of the 80's and 90's.

1995

Business Restructuring

Due to the economic and political circumstances of the country, the company is going through a restructuring.Generating a new line of business; obtaining and processing raw materials.

2011

New Beginning

Thanks to the great confidence that was built as a supplier of raw materials for the industry, begins the manufacture of laundry and toilet soaps for some of the most important transnationals in the country.
This causes the IBARRA family's soap factory to become more technical, giving rise to a new company dedicated 100% to the manufacturing of laundry and toilet soaps.
The company Promaquila de Cocula S.A. De C.V. is constituted to give formal support to the maquila activities.

2012

Relaunch of the Ibarra brand

In 2012 the brand JABONES IBARRA has its relaunch in the market, being again one of the core businesses of the company, continuing and maintaining the tradition of the brand.

2017

New Business Lines

JABONES IBARRA launches its line of bar vanity soaps, opening a new panorama in the personal care segment. Focusing on providing a great product and supporting the country's economy. Four presentations of vanity soaps are launched, with a value focused on the highest quality, at an ideal price.

Now

In this new stage, the management has focused on transforming the best raw materials in the market into personal and home care products. With the objective of satisfying the needs of the final consumer, the brand has a presence in the main self-service channels and has nationwide distribution.
